| The HeartStrings Café was created by musician, singer/songwriter Barrylee Harwood, most noted for his work with Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Rossington Collins Band and The Allen Collins Band. Barrylee returned to the public eye with an awesome vision for the future. The new band is called CHARIOT and their debut album is in progress. This site tracks Barrylee’s movements through his musical history and his writings and gives you a glimpse of his present day life as well as future dreams and plans. The accomplishments of the past are only as good as the future they create. Like a lifeline, our HeartStrings are connected from the heart of God to your heart and mine. We’re all tied together at the heart. HeartStrings keep us from drifting apart because we weren’t created to exist without each other. We serve a God given purpose in this life. We dream different dreams and we need each other to make dreams come true. Every person is a “missing piece of the puzzle” in someone else’s life. We’re all created in the image and likeness of God and that’s the one thing we share in common but our gifts and talents are uniquely different. Sometimes our differences create a chasm that causes us to walk away from one another and that puts a strain on our HeartStrings which causes heartache. Peace abides when we choose to forgive and forget and stay tied to each other. If we lose our footing on the mountain, we’ll never fall to the bottom because we’re connected to others who are climbing alongside us. Success lies in making dreams come true. Success is a “dream come true.” Success is a finish line that we cross on the way to the next race; the next “dream come true!” God gives us the desires of our heart through the dreams and visions that we give birth to. He has created a predestined path for each individual to walk. The vision in our heart leads us to the path and keeps us from straying. All the tools and resources necessary to reach our destiny are on the path! As we pursue our dreams we connect with God and as dreams come true we fulfill God’s plan and purpose for our lives and that is true success! Success is in knowing God’s plan and purpose for our lives and pursuing it with passion. Success is powered by the enthusiasm of a clearly defined dream and pathway to follow. Dreams cause us to reach beyond our grasp because, if we want something different in life, we gotta’ do something different in life; we have to “change.” Dreams motivate us to do something we’ve never done before in order to get something we’ve never had before. Total fulfillment comes through “giving life” to the vision that God has placed in our heart. Every purpose has a “season & time.” We need wisdom to understand the things that we know about our sphere of influence. We were created to live life in abundance! The HeartStrings Café offers you a quiet place to sit and reflect - ponder the past, present and future. It’s a place to refresh the spirit, soul, and body. Hopefully you’ll find something here that you can keep in the home of your heart. Life is a journey, not a destination and the HeartStrings Café is a place to stop and relax along the way.
